Connect your Webflow site
Publish from Stratafold straight into your Webflow CMS — no app, no developer. Generate a site API token, paste it in, and choose your blog collection.

Once your Webflow site is connected, everything you publish in Stratafold goes live in your site’s CMS — usually your blog — within about a minute. Nothing is installed, and no Webflow app is needed.
Before you start
Your site needs a CMS collection for posts. Webflow’s blog templates come with one called Blog Posts; otherwise add a collection with a Rich text field for the article. You need to be able to open the site’s settings in Webflow.
1. Generate an API token in Webflow
- In Webflow, open your site’s Site settings and go to Apps & integrations.
- Scroll to API access and choose Generate API token.
- Name it Stratafold. Give it read and write access to CMS and read access to Sites, then choose Generate token.
- Copy the token. Webflow shows it only once.
2. Connect it in Stratafold
- Open Settings → Website in your workspace and choose Connect a Webflow website — or answer Webflow when a new business asks Where is your website?
- Paste the token and choose Continue. Stratafold shows your site’s collections and says plainly if one can’t take posts, and why.
- Choose the collection for your posts, tick what should appear there, and choose Connect my website.
What happens next
- Publishing an entry creates an item in the collection and publishes it to your live site.
- The title becomes the item’s Name and its slug the Slug. The article goes into the rich-text field, the first image into the main image field, and the SEO description into a summary field when the collection has one.
- Publishing again updates the same item rather than creating a copy.
- Unpublishing, archiving or deleting takes the item off your live site. Webflow keeps it as a draft, so nothing is deleted.
- Things you published before connecting aren’t sent in bulk. Open one and choose Send to website.
Your collection’s template page decides how posts look. Stratafold only fills in the content.
If something goes wrong
If Webflow is busy, Stratafold keeps trying on its own. If the token is deleted, publishing is paused and nothing is lost: generate a new token, choose Change token in Settings → Website, and everything waiting is sent. If a collection requires a field Stratafold can’t fill, make that field optional in Webflow or choose another collection.
