Write, review and publish content

Create entries by hand or with AI, work safely with drafts and versions, get an AI review of your writing and publish when ready.

For editors. 6 minute read. Updated .

Everything you write lives in Content items. Filter by schema, search titles and slugs, and switch between Drafts, Published, Changed and Archived.

Two ways to start an entry

New entry opens an empty form built from the schema. Generate with AI asks for a schema and a brief, then drafts the entry for you. While it writes, the entry shows as Drafting at the top of the list, and it appears as a normal draft when it is done, usually within a minute. Media, links and references stay empty for you to add.

A good brief is specific: “A launch article for our new two-bedroom penthouses on the waterfront, focusing on the private terrace and concierge service” works far better than “Write about penthouses”.

Drafts, publishing and versions

Saving never publishes. Drafts can be incomplete; Publish checks that every required field is filled and tells you exactly which ones aren’t.

After publishing, the live version is frozen. You can keep editing; the entry shows as Changed until you choose Publish changes. Your website keeps showing the previously published version in the meantime.

Every save increases the entry’s version. If a colleague saves while you are editing, Stratafold tells you instead of overwriting their work, and shows who made the change. You can also press Cmd+S (Mac) or Ctrl+S (Windows) to save.

Get a second opinion from the AI

The AI review panel checks the saved version against your workspace brief. Add a goal if you have one, such as “make the introduction more persuasive”, and choose Review this entry. You get a quality score, specific suggestions per field and a complete suggested rewrite. Apply suggested rewrite puts it into the form for you to read, adjust and save. Nothing changes until you save.

Unpublish, archive and delete

  • Unpublish removes the entry from your website but keeps it as a draft.
  • Archive hides it from the list and from your website, read-only, until you Restore to drafts.
  • Delete removes it permanently. Only owners and admins can delete.

Live updates

The content list, the sidebar counts and open entries update the moment anyone on your team, or the AI, changes something. You never need to refresh to see a colleague’s work or a finished AI draft.
