Invite your team and control access
Roles in Stratafold explained: owners, admins and editors, per-workspace access for editors, invitations and working across several businesses.
For owners and admins. 4 minute read. Updated .
Stratafold has three roles. Roles belong to a business, so one person can be an owner of their own business and an editor for a client.
Roles
| Can… | Owner | Admin | Editor |
|---|---|---|---|
| Write, generate, publish and archive entries | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Delete entries | Yes | Yes | No |
| Create and change schemas | Yes | Yes | No |
| Change AI settings and automations | Yes | Yes | No |
| Manage API keys and AI provider keys | Yes | Yes | No |
| Invite people and manage workspace access | Yes | Yes | No |
| Change roles, delete workspaces or the business | Yes | No | No |
| See every workspace | Yes | Yes | Only ones they are added to |
A business always keeps at least one owner.
Invite someone
In Business settings → Team, enter their email under Invite by email, pick a role and, for editors, the workspaces they may open. Choose Create invitation and send them the link. It works once and expires after 7 days. Inviting the same email again replaces the old link.
If the person already has a Stratafold account, they confirm with their password and the business appears in their workspace switcher. Otherwise they choose a name and password.
Workspace access for editors
Editors see only the workspaces they have been added to. Change this any time from Business settings → Team or from a workspace’s Settings → Members. Owners and admins always see every workspace.
Working across businesses
Agencies and freelancers often belong to several businesses. Use the switcher at the top of the sidebar to move between workspaces, or All businesses to see everything you have access to. Each business’s content, keys and settings are completely separate.
